The Clerk separately explains that a criminal sentence can produce a $50-per-day cost-of-incarceration civil restitution lien based on days sentenced—not necessarily days actually served. That lien is separate from the criminal fine and cost balance.

Correction and expungement are different. Use correction when a field is factually wrong. Use sealing or expungement when the record is accurate but may qualify for legal restriction.
