Choose expunction or an order of nondisclosure
Expunction
Requires qualifying eligibility under Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 55A. A granted order generally requires named agencies to destroy or return covered records.Order of nondisclosure
Restricts public disclosure of one qualifying offense but does not destroy the record or hide it from every criminal-justice, licensing or government agency.
Dismissal alone does not guarantee expunction. Eligibility depends on the arrest outcome, charge, waiting period, related criminal episode, prosecution history and other statutory conditions.
