Colorado jail bond notices explain that only the money-bond amount is required to secure release. Booking fees and other debts cannot be required as a condition of release.

A person held on a Colorado state criminal charge must be brought before a judge within 48 hours and will have a public defender or other appointed counsel at the first appearance.
