Why an Oklahoma arrest may not appear

Follow an Oklahoma arrest in the correct order

Law-enforcement incident The arresting agency creates the incident report, arrest narrative, probable-cause facts and evidence records.

Oklahoma Indigent Defense System provides trial-level defense in 75 of Oklahoma’s 77 counties.

A successfully completed deferred sentence may update the disposition to show that the person pleaded not guilty and the case was dismissed, but a Section 991(c) action alone does not remove the underlying arrest record.

How much is an OSBI name search?The current fee is $15 for an Oklahoma criminal-history database search through CHIRP.
How much is an OSBI fingerprint search?The current fee is $19. The original fingerprint card must be mailed or delivered and cannot be faxed.
Does an OSBI check include every arrest?No. An arrest may be missing when fingerprints were not submitted, were unusable or were not retained. Other-state records are not included.
