Save the incorrect result
Record the URL, date, inmate ID, event number, case number and disputed field.
Obtain controlling proof
Use a certified dismissal, judgment, amended order or corrected agency report.
Correct police or booking data through the originating agency
LVMPD, Henderson Police or North Las Vegas Police may need to update its submission.
Correct the court disposition through the Clerk
A wrong or missing judgment must be addressed by the court maintaining the file.

Recheck connected systems
A court correction may not immediately update the jail page or a private screening report.
Correction and sealing are different. Correction fixes information that is factually wrong. Sealing restricts an accurate record that satisfies Nevada eligibility rules.
Restrict an eligible Clark County arrest or conviction
Nevada uses record sealing, not ordinary expungement. A sealed record is removed from general information sources but is not destroyed and may remain available for legally authorized purposes.
Cases that require different routes
Justice or District Court cases
Use the Clark County District Attorney stipulation process and the correct Justice or District Court petition.
Municipal Court cases
Submit through the applicable city attorney and Municipal Court. The County DA cannot stipulate to municipal cases.
Multiple Clark County courts
District Court can be used to address eligible Justice and District Court charges throughout Clark County.

Unless the court orders otherwise, the petitioner is responsible for delivering certified orders.
Verify compliance
Recheck the jail, courts, LVMPD, Nevada Repository and private background reports.
Nevada State Police states that sealing can take approximately two to four months depending on the accuracy of the court order. Repository compliance after receiving an order can take longer, so keep certified copies and proof of service.
A Nevada sealing order does not guarantee removal from every news article, out-of-state system or private archive. Dispute inaccurate private records separately.

How do I search a CCDC inmate?
Use the official redrock in-custody search. Enter at least two surname letters, the inmate ID or the Justice Court case number.
Why is the person not in the CCDC search?
The person may be processing, released, transferred, under 18, in protective custody or held at the Las Vegas City, North Las Vegas or Henderson jail.
How do I find the final criminal charge?
Search the Justice Court case first and then check District Court when the felony or gross-misdemeanor matter was transferred or indicted.
Where do I search a Las Vegas Municipal Court case?
Use the City of Las Vegas Municipal Court defendant-history and case-docket search, not the county Justice Court search.
